Oh yes... That's the spot.

SO MUCH YUMMINESS. First and formost, I have just recorded the trailer to yet another big film, this time it was for "Pride and Prejudice" starring Keira Knightly. Just got out of the session right now and I'm quite excited by working consistantly with my voice like this.

Secondly, we're comin' to Michigan! We will play Michigan State on the 27th of This month. (April) If you're from Michigan get in contact! Myself and the band have four days on our hands and would love to meet up with those with some free time.

Lastly we are also performing at Linda Loudermilk's prestigious fund-raising fashion show: the dress they fitted me for is worth a million bucks (quite literally) and I sipped perrier with rose syrup and sugar coated rose petals while a team of stylists tried to figure out what to do with my insane hair. Quite an episode of sex and the city. No jeweled underwear however thank god.

Finally, we were aired on Radio Futuro in Chile this afternoon for their up and coming rock music show...

That's it for now, but also the band name is changing again i just don't know to what yet. Sorry.

We are done playing smaller shows for the moment, as we're working out more new material. By the by our new drummer Randy Cooke kicks my ass. Come see him play.

I do NOT like little boys!...

...But i'm singing the vocals to Harry Potter's trailer! (Oh lil jon where are you when your sound effects are needed? I believe a YA-YAH is needed at this juncture?) I just recorded the vocals to the trailer and got to sing the theme et al... Three hours after arriving we were well on our way and move over Lisa Gerard!

... That was purely bravado born of her never going to read this by the by...

So go and cheer the trailer if you see it cuz that be me yodelin in the background!

And then there were 2...well 3...actually 4....

That's right folks, a very big change is occuring in the circus that we fondly refer to as the life of morgan. Where once it was just I, time and the music Gods have deemed it the opportune moment for us to become more of a team. I am essentially still at its core as I write the material, however Paul and I have been recording together etc... I have changed my name to Morgan De Lacroix. The OTHER morgan grace out there will be quite happy i'm sure.

At the bottom of the barrel what it comes down to i'm not in the mood deal with the name confusion. Hence my new alter ego, Madame DLX. Hopefully you will feel as titilated as i am by this new name. I have to say it defintiely delights the gentlemen.

Voyeurism for those with a telescope.

Just got back from New York a few weeks ago where I spent time restoring the Library's Guardians, Patience and Fortitude. What an amazing job. I truly have a New york story now. I was lucky enough to stay in one of my family member's apartments on the 45th floor so as you can imagine i spent time running around naked in my posh place making as many lewd and obscene dances, jigs etc. as humanly possible during my five day glimpse of wealth. (And by the by, the lions are now clean and repaired and looking quite smug if I don't say so myself.)

We will be playing the 4th of February at the Troubadour. I'm extremely excited, yet another permutation of the live setup will be in evidence, and the EP will be for sale.

I hope you all have a beautiful holiday, be safe, be courteous. be kind, and do much kissing under the the mistletoe and I will see you all in the New Year. I'm off to the Carribean where I will attempt to get a tan, however no breath shall be held.

The rain is here my beauties! And with such lust has it arrived I find myself compelled to stop being such a lazy milkmaid and enter something on this fresh setup. Lots of news and tidbits...
First off, I have been busy gathering and editing my lyrics and writings: it looks like I might be in the publushing world soon! I am in the midst of contacting an amazing Brazilian artist Eduardo Recife to see if he would be interested in doing some art to accompany my words. Check out his site at www.misprintedtype.com. He is truly an inspiration. As you might have also figured out, I have a new band setup and the new players are truly something to marvel at. I highly suggest coming to the shows just to see them.

Also... (Just a little tale of celtic debauchery) just got back from Chicago where a good friend of mine just married. (deep sigh) I had never realized until that moment when they turned towards each other on the dais (for that is literally what it was) that that split second will be only theirs for all eternity. (gag cough stuff me with a table setting etc...) They were so beautifully in bliss I almost felt included. (Oh wah for me)
I promptly got drunk but was then informed that I would have to sing in front of the big, largely kilt-clad audience, and promptly sobered up. I actually did quite well, My Funny Valentine has always been one of my favorites. In all it was a success, and the old ladies loved my wit. No kilt comments shall be made as I wasn't even given the pleasure of discovering the truth behind the myth anyways.

Nice Day (4 a murder)

The Wizards have dedicated their genius to the production of my first ep and I have to say they deserve their name and then some. It was quite strange actually, (but expected almost) on the second day of recording, I arrived and there were white feathers scattered everywhere right outside the studio door. It turns out that four white birds had recently started visiting The Wizards' studio and had taken to perching themselves right outside of the studio door. It also turns out that two white cats live right accross the street. Well, as you can imagine, the birds decided to come out and play and before you knew it, one of the white cats had eaten one of the white birds. A massacre true!! But none the less a good omen i am sure...
